Audu Bako Zoological Garden (Kano Zoo)

Kano's zoo, opened in 1972 and covering about 46 hectares, with lions, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, crocodiles and many birds. It is a popular family outing, though its facilities have been reported to need investment. There is an entry fee. The UK FCDO currently advises against all but essential travel to Kano State, so check current travel advisories before you go.
