Finima Nature Park
📍 Bonny, Rivers
Protected area of about 1,000 hectares on Bonny Island, set up by Nigeria LNG in 1999. It covers rainforest, mangrove and freshwater swamp, with nature trails, a visitor centre and wildlife including crocodiles, African grey parrots and hippos. Hunting is banned and rangers patrol the park. The UK FCDO currently advises against all travel to riverine areas of Rivers State, which includes Bonny, so check current travel advisories before you go.
