Mary Slessor's Tomb
📍 Calabar, Cross River
Grave of Mary Slessor, the Scottish missionary who worked in Calabar for about four decades until her death in 1915 and campaigned against the killing of twins. The Presbyterian Church keeps the cemetery, which is close to the Obong of Calabar's palace, and Queen Elizabeth II laid a wreath here. Combine it with a walk around historic Duke Town.
