Old Residency Museum (National Museum Calabar)
📍 Calabar, Cross River
National museum in the 1884 prefabricated colonial Government House, declared a national monument in 1959 and run by the National Commission for Museums and Monuments. It holds a large collection of documents and artefacts on the history of Old Calabar, the Cross River region and the slave trade. The site has had closures before, so confirm it is open before you go.
