Afi Mountain Drill Ranch
📍 Boki, Cross River
Pandrillus field site at the foot of Afi Mountain, about four hours north of Calabar, with drill groups and chimpanzee enclosures in natural forest. Visitors can stay in simple open-air guest cabins or camp, and walk to the nearby Kache Bano rainforest canopy walkway, which was damaged in a 2012 landslide and only partly restored. Bring your own food and drinking water, and call ahead to book as cabins fill up.
