Lisabi Festival
📍 Abeokuta, Ogun
An annual Egba festival honouring Lisabi, the 18th-century warrior who led the Egba to independence from the Oyo Empire. The 39th edition ran in March 2026, with the main events held 23–28 March at the Ake Palace grounds, including drumming, dance parades, warrior re-enactments and the Egbaliganza adire fashion show.
