Ooni of Ife's Palace (Ile Oodua)

The palace of the Ooni of Ife, the traditional ruler of the Yoruba ancestral city, on Enuwa Square. The grounds contain many shrines, including Ogun Laadin and Yeyemoolu; some can be seen by visitors while others are restricted. Entry is free, but palace guides (Emese) expect a tip, and you may be asked to remove shoes in some areas.
