The Obi of Onitsha's royal festival, where the monarch comes out of his annual seclusion to receive homage from his chiefs and people. It is one of the most important events in the Igbo cultural calendar. The 2026 theme is 'Igba Mbo, Iga N'Iru' (Strive and Advance). The programme also includes the Oreze international art exhibition, an Ofala Youth Carnival and a community health outreach.
